He is a retired teacher from the Ainsworth Community School system and has worked on projects with the Long Pine Continuing Education Center for the past year.   He has a BAE (1967) and a MAE (1973) from Wayne State College in Wayne,  Nebraska.  He taught for six years at Bancroft, Nebraska and then for 26 years at Ainsworth. His major is in education with majors in History and French.  He has also worked with the Connections Project Challenge Grant in the Ainsworth Communty Schools where they received training on integrating technology into the curriculum.   Last summer he was the co-chairman of a workshop sponsored by the Long Pine Continuing Education Center through a grant from the Frederal Government Innovative Technology grant to Nebraska's Community Colleges.  Over 28 educators participated  in this training session on using technology in the classroom.   The instructors were trained through the Connections Project Challenge Grant.
