Supplier of Choice
We believe that client/supplier relationships are strongest when
"partnership" is part of the process ... not just surviving with the
lowest bidder.
Clients for Training Services
Clients have different needs and we must be willing to provide a full
range of training services. These services range from packaged training
courses to custom design, to training internal resources.
Clients of Organisational Services
Training is not always the solution to organisational problems. Clients
will frequently need a range of consulting services that we can provide,
such as:
- Data Collection and Analysis
- Facilitating real work issues with clients
- Process Consulting
Consistent Quality
Quality of training/consulting is defined as "meeting and exceeding
customer requirements". This requires getting a clear picture of what the
clients expect and "doing it right the first time".
Risk Sharing
Client/consultant relationships need to reflect a willingness to share
appropriate levels of risk for assignments. Lorne Plunkett &
Associates Ltd. does not exercise a "cancellation policy" where clients
have just cause for being unable to proceed.
Value for Money
We believe that all of our goals must be perceived by our clients as
having contributed to their goals at a cost thatwas seen to be fair and
appropriate.
Our Services
Design
On behalf of clients, or in conjunction with clients, we will design
training modules, courses and activities. This service will provide
camera-ready professional materials that are tailored to the specific work
situations of the client organisation. We will also train internal
resources to deliver the training materials and ensure that clients are
able to independently achieve quality results.
Consulting
While our prime mission is to increase the skills/abilities of our
clients, we will also undertake specific consulting activities. Primarily,
our focus is process consulting. We work with clients by facilitating real
life work situations that allow client managers to assume an active role
in the issue. We will also operate as "Shadow Consultants" to managers or
steering committees that are implementing Quality or Participation
initiatives.
