Friday July 7th's Summer Sanitarium gig in Atlanta, Georgia was a little different. Metallica frontman James Hetfield was sidelined with a back injury after a waterskiing accident, so for Metallica's set, members of Korn, Kid Rock, and System of a Down joined the remaining members of Metallica on stage for their set playing One, Enter Sandman, Sad But True, and Fuel. Kirk Hammet also gave Korn a hand in playing Blind. Korn played their Cheech and Chong cover Earache My Eye (with David on bass), and Counting. They also played guitar and contibuted vocals in place of Het. Metallica will return to Atlanta on August 4th to play a makeup date.
