| Highest Scoring Rottweiler at the Caledon Kennel Club Show November 30 2002 |
| Snickers earned her CDX with scores of 190 1/2, 194 and 193. I decided to continue to show in the Open B class, despite a very difficult summer with no time for training as my husband became seriously ill. I was spending all my time at the hospital, and after 6 weeks he lost a very courageous battle with pancreatitus and will be forever remembered in my heart and the hearts of our dogs, who also miss him terribly. This very special dog gave me the strength to carry on with my life and I decided to go to the few trials I had already entered before this happened. We passed a few more times with scores of 191, 191 1/2 and 194. and Snickers was giving me the best heeling she ever had, she came through for me when I needed her the most. We finished up the year with a total of 30 points towards the Dogs in Canada Obedience Awards and now anxiously wait to see if we placed in the Top 5 Rottweilers. |
