I am a woman who desires to fulfill her dreams in accordance to God's will. I hail from Oakland, California, home of the Raiders (who were gypped out of the 2002 AFC Playoffs, no, make that robbed. They succeeded in becoming the 2003 AFC Champions, only to lose miserably in the Super Bowl.    Forward to 2007: I think that Art Shell should be given another chance due to his former outstanding records as a player and a coach; after all, the coach is only as good as his players.  Get the hint Team?!!); the A's (who are finally getting their own well-deserved stadium but NOT IN OAKLAND!   I'm really hating the City of Fremont right now for getting the A's effective 2013 and of course, the County of Alameda. Shame on the County for NOT BUILDING these four-time World Series Champions their own stadium YEARS AGO SO WE COULD KEEP THEM IN OAKLAND!); and the Golden State Warriors (no comment until they start winning some championships!). WELL, NOW I CAN COMMENT:
OMG, Golden State is in the NBA Playoffs!!!!
   GO WARRIORS!!!

My daughter and I have called Heidelberg, Germany home since August 2000. We moved here so that I could complete my Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and learn German. Suffice it to say that my daughter's language ability is better than mine, although I can make myself understood!

Update: We returned to the U.S. as scheduled in May 2002. I completed my degree in July 2002. Praise God, I accomplished my goal of receiving my Bachelor Degree by the age of 40. Hurray!

By the way, we now call Alabama (of all places) home.    Home, did I really say that?  Somebody, please get me out of here! LOL

It is my hope, Lord willing, that one day I will obtain a job      as a  Diplomat with the U.S. Department of State.

In the mean time, I am performing my second great love, helping others, probably my true calling! I assist others in obtaining gainful employment by providing intensive and/or training-related services.

I have not yet fulfilled my fantasy of becoming a successful writer. I already have 3 books in the works: A political thriller, a social commentary, and a romance novel. Let's pray that one of them sees the light of day by late 2007. I keep pushing the date back due to a lot of extentuating circumstances. Oh well, the moral of this story:
               NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!!
My purpose for creating this page is multifaceted and I pray, Spirit-led. First, I want to help lead others to Christ by informing them about God's Salvation Plan for their lives. I want to unify Christians by ending Racism in the Church of our Lord. Creating a public forum in which to share God's Word on equality in Christ just seemed like an excellent idea to me.
I also long to fellowship with other divorced parents of biracial children so I greated my own Yahoo Group called Single Christians with Biracial Children.
Finally, I want to make known to people of color the job opportunities that exist in the field of International Relations.
