Sparks flew when Lesley-Anne Down (Olivia)
and photography director Don FauntLeRoy
met on the set of the miniseries NORTH AND SOUTH.
But, like every good drama, there was
conflict: Both were married, albeit unhappily.
After divorcing their respective spouses,
the couple began seeing each other in 1985
and tied the knot a year later. "We are
an excellent case study in making a relationshop
work," says the actress. "The problems that we've
had would have been insurmountable for a lot of
people. Instead, we worked through them." As a
result, in March, Down gave birth to a baby,
George Edward, fulfilling her and FauntLeRoy's
dream of having a child together.
