Yes.
Gestation Creation:
Upon hearing that their leading lady was with child, the producers decided to make Olivia and daughter Caitlin pregnant at the same time. "I was lucky because most people, you get pregnant and then you don't work," Down observes. "Also, I think (working) keeps you in better (physical) shape. I was probably in better shape when I was pregnant than I am now." So much so, "A lot of the time I had to wear pads to make (my stomach) bigger than it actually was," smiles Down. "which made me feel really good."
The Pregnant Pause:
After Olivia gave birth on the show and subsequently "lost" the baby, Down took time off to give birth to baby George. "Olivia decided to desappear," she recalls. "Everything was too awful and she couldn't bear life anymore." A few months later, Olivia resurfaced, so to speak, on the deck of a cruise ship. "You didn't know where she'd gone until you found her on the deck of a cruise ship about to jump off (the side)!"
