SHIN - My family name. It was passed down by a warrior who saved a king's life a long time ago.
JI- The Chinese character pronounced JI means wise. My grandfather named me my name Jiwon, Ji meaning wise because he wanted me to be wise and make the best choices everytime.
WON - This in Chinese character means beautiful or pretty. My grandfather says he thought it would be great if I looked beautiful but he wanted my mind and personality to be beautiful. He wanted me to be a caring person with a beautiful mind.

The world is big: there are 6 billion of human beings in it. I'm just one of them, but important. Every individual is important because together we all form the whole society. I', a part of the world, of Korea, and of CSIA students. Everyone forms relationships with another so we mean a lot to each other. Therefore, I'm a friend of my classmates and a student of many CSIA teachers as well.
I value making relationships with various people. And when I meet a new person, I introduce myself since in order to form good relationships we have to know about each other. So let me introduce myself.
I am an optimistic person.
I am always bright about the world around me, and am almost never sad or depressed. I always find a hole to climb out of the darkness. Maybe this optimistic attitude comforts people. People easly get friendly with me, and they are able to come forward with all the hardships they have. I can always advise them what they should do and comfort them.
I am different inside and outside.
This doesn't mean that I act kindly outside in order to persue my goals. It's quite the opposite. I can't act nice to the people around me from time to time. This is one of the weakness that I have. I try to fix the problem and act how I feel about the people around me, and it has been fixed nearly to perfection. But still, my friends sometimes get hurt because I say mean things about them.
I am a hard-working person.
If I have made a promise with someone to do something, for example, help a friend with a homework assignment or promise myself to complete science presentation, I always make it. I feel somewhat sinful to give up on things that I had decided to complete or do. I also do my best at given assignments. I think that the writing or work that create or write is a second face of me. And to keep my face clean and beautiful, I try to do things that no one will swear at me for.
I am a psychotic person.
Everyone around me will admit this. People say that if you like the color purple you are a psycho. I love the color purple. And my tastes are quite different from others. I love listening to the music and singing as it goes along. This doesn't sound psychotic but I sing along when listening to my MP3 player. My friends call me a psycho when I sing along a song no one else but I am listening to. There are many episodes about how I acted psychotic, but I will skip thoughs to prevent being sent to a psychologists office.
