We brought Katie home January, 1999, she was born November 18, 1998. Katie received alot of our attention, she had special medical needs and with a lot of prayer and persistence she got over her medical problems and has been an excellent dog.
Katie is a great dog to have around, she is very lovable and even gets along with our 2 cats that we have.
Katie even had another friend, her name was Megan. Megan was a yellow lab that we got in December, 1999, she was 8 weeks old and Megan and Katie loved to roll around and play. They really enjoyed playing fetch at the park. They even went on trips to Arnold, CA and Pinecrest, CA. Then something awful happened, Megan passed away, she was 10 months old and the autopsy showed that she was a very healthy dog with no explanation of death. Katie showed signs of depression. She would pick up Megan's collar and put in her mouth and bring it to me. She truly missed having Megan around that is why in November, 2000 we decided to bring home a friend for Katie, his name is Tex because we got him from Texas.
