These are limericks I wrote to describe some of my friends. Not all of them have seen them, but it's not like they're mean or anything. They're not even terribly good (some of the rhymes are, admittedly, questionable), but they're pretty accurate.
There was a young lady named Jo
Who wanted her school to be co
The lack of nice lads
Was terribly sad
And left her feeling just low.
There was a young lassie named Jenna
Who could always do with a tenner
There's only one hitch
She's not very rich
So she's going to have to be zen-ner.
There was a lad I knew called Si
Who was really a very nice guy
He always wore black
Though this colour lack
'Is awful!' his friends used to cry.
There was a young woman named Gem
Who was promised and sworn off of men
Her humour was and is
Such she won't kiss
Until she should locate her Ben.
There was a young girlie called Sam
Who was a terribly fervent sports fan
She played hockey and net
Without getting het
But away from lads she never ran.
There was a young man named Marty
Whose brain was terribly smarty
That wouldn't seem right
If you'd seen him that night
Drunk at his eighteenth year party.
There was a young lady named Lizzie
Who was effervescent and fizzy
The rate of her phone-ring
Was simply alarming
And made all the bystanders dizzy.
There was a young feller named Ol
Who always was terribly jol
His smiling was such
There was never too much
His humour was just LOL.
