| There's someone so special we wish you could all get to know, Our little girl Nikki, whom we watched blossom and grow. It's just so hard to believe that it's now been a year, More than we thought possible, she's still so very dear. For it may have been us, that gave her that very special start, But it was you who made sure that we would always have a part. Without even realizing it, our hearts had formed a strong bond, So thank you Mark & Linda for going above and beyond. She taught us of trust, of patience and above all of this, She gave us a "Lotta Love" which we'll now never miss. Her love she gave freely and she gave it to all, She gave us new friendships, a task, none to small. She gave us much laughter and the joy of caring, So many lives now, her love, all are sharing. Through the good times and bad, we will always be friends, A lifetime we're sure, will bring it no end. Now it seems so long ago, that we were once so aloof, How bringing us all together just took one special Newf. For her, our hopes and dreams are filled with only fun, For our dear little Nikki is now suddenly ONE. So "Happy Birthday" from all of us here, and "Happy Birthday" from all of those that are near.
