| It begins in Emyn Muil, and Frodo, Elijah Wood, and Sam, Sean Astin, are continuing their journey. They soon find out that they are being� followed by the creature Gollum.� He still has not been able to get rid of his need for the ring. He swears to lead Frodo and Sam to Mordor as long as they don't harm him.� Frodo lets Gollum go because he feels sorry for him, even though Sam doesn't feel the same way. |
| Meanwhile, Aragorn, Viggo Mortensen, Legolas, Orlando Bloom, and Gimli , John Rhys-Davies, continue their hunt for the other two hobbits, Merry and Pippin, who have been taken by the Urk-Hai.� They soon encounter the Riders of Rohan and Later go to see King Theoden, Bernard Hill, who has fallen under Saruman's power. |
