Lotaso declares Lemmon's neutrality about the same time as France is conquered. The stance comes under question as Lemmon joins the lend- lease act to Russia and Sends "volunteers" to Russia and China.

When Turkey joins the war on the side of Germany, the Luftwaffe strafes the L.K.S. Guardanus (Commanded by Admiral Alandor Samis) and the Japanese attack the L.K.S. Lotasorus carrier group (commanded by the Crown prince Tacitan) while it roamed not far from Hong Kong, King Lotaso declares on Founder's day (February 5th in western calendars) 1942 that they are war with the three mentioned above. The surge of military strength flooding in to the area allows the British and Lemmish defenders to hold in North Africa in El Alamien and against the Turks in Mosul.

Operation Torchlight barely succeeds because of a daring British raid on Toranto and a Lemmish bombing of Ankara and Istanbul. With the withdraw of German forces in North Africa in early 1943 came a huge propaganda move by the British. Winston Churchill was able to knock out the Turks quickly with a determined beach amphibious landing at Gallipoli with intentions of going to Istanbul. The Americans landed lower on the coast by Ephesus while a Lemmish/Russian force invaded from the North side toward Ankara and a British/Lemmish force attacked up the east coast of the Mediterranean aiming for Antioch. Each city was captured and put under allied control.

In the Pacific, the arrival of the Lotasorus almost won the battle for the Philippines by sinking a Japanese Light Carrier, the Shikoku. They aided in evacuating the American and Filipino soldiers fighting the Japanese and headed for the nearest allied naval base at Guam. The Evacuees plus several divisions of newly trained Marine and Air Force cadets were distributer to the nearest needed Islands

Macarthur was delighted when Roosevelt gave him operational command over setting up counter moves against the Japanese threat.

During the attack on Wake Island the Lotasorus was allowed to come the defender's assistance (possibly saving their lives,) after three months of fighting the Lotasorus took on the survivors and abandoned the island to Japanese forces. The Japanese had taken quite a cost though, more than 4000 soldiers that stormed the island and 200 naval flyers died in the region, the Defenders of Wake also crippled two destroyer who came too close to the beaches. While the Lotasorus group were responsible for 2 light cruisers and several Destroyers who were assisting the attack. The Lotasorus group also lost the battleship Forestall and the destroyer, Estication.

While making its way back to Pearl Harbor the Lotasorus was crippled by a Japanese torpedo and barely made to Hawaii. After being repaired the Lotasorus traveled through the Panama Canal to replace the Guardanus in the Atlantic. It went northward and participated in the search for the Bismarck, which was caught off the Cape Verde Islands near Spanish Morocco. Spanish President Ferdinand was among the allied leaders who greeted the Lotasorus on a fueling stop in Cadiz. Spain also thanked the entire Lemmish people for their sacrifices in regaining Spain's lost territories of Morocco and the city of Barcelona. There would be more fights to come.

The Lotasorus would participate in the first amphibious assault in the Medditeranean when the allies invaded the island of Sicily. The flyers of the carrier would provide air cover for the assaulting marines. The assault on the city of Syracuse was one of the most difficult campaigns for the army as the Italian defenders took advantage of the devestation caused by dropped bombs.

4 months were spent in and around the island of sicily for the units assigned to the Lotasorus. In the mean time the allies captured and held Corsica and Sardinia. Prince Tacitan was injured in the battle west of Rome as the Lotasorus was hit by two incendiary bombs from Italian flyers.
