--Halo 3 Rumors

Found some halo 3 rumors while i was checking out the 360...

* Dark & gritty storyline
* Online co-op campaign for 2+ players
* Multiplayer bot scenarios
* 50+ players on Live!
* New editions of Zanzibar, Sidewinder & Hang Em High
* Map editor
* Movie editor

50 players? that's a little extreme. Hang Em High, the best map ever. and I think i know what additions are in it too. for halo 1 they never finished some of the multiplayer levels because the release date was rushing them. so on hang em high there was supposed to be another chamber-type area with a flame thrower somewhere. but as they ran out of time they just put a wall over the unfinished areas instead of de-programming it. it was a known "no-clipping" area where in halo 1 you could get to with hacks and stuff. but I'm not going to get my hopes up cause they are still rumors.

-XBOX 360

-New Maps:
Well the 9 new maps are well made and will for a long time will dominate the old, as far as popularity. they all where made to be a little less symmetrical as where the old ones. most of them have a main game-play. as to say that they all are made to best support a game-type. ie: Slayer, CTF, BOMB etc.. I think we should really focus on these new maps and try to exploit strategies for them as we have with the other maps. NEW MAPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR $5 CHARGE via Richard Keys. these where well planed and well made maps with a lot to offer.
-XBC:
Well it seems that I have hit a dead end with XBC. I cant seem to find out what is causing it to crash. the only clue is that it started when i downloaded the patch. no one else seems to have a problem connecting, so I will just have to wait for an additional patch to come out and try that one.

-JrM_XeN (Kai) is now going to prepare the news for the Halo 2 Site. Here is his first entry:
Headsets are the bees knees for online Halo playing. I played Halo online for a while without one and it sucks not being able to have a say in what game to play. Anyway, it's better because you can say "tea bag" to people when you kill them. I need some reliable teammates out there to ally with. I didn't realize how could you could be at Halo but I got owned the other day 2v6, and I was on the 6 player team and the score came out to be something like 8 - 50.

May 28, 2005

-Here is some information that I received when i was on some random forums:
May 16, 2005 - Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates told Time Magazine this week of his plans to launch Halo 3 as soon as Sony's PS3 hits the market. One of the best selling console titles to date with over 6.5 million copies sold, Halo 2 flew from shelves on its release date. Declaring that Halo 3 would not be ready for Xbox 360's official lanuch, Bill Gates made it clear he was challenging Sony. "Note to the hard-core faithful: the next version of Halo will not, repeat not, be ready in time for the launch of Xbox 360. It will be part of the all-important second wave next spring. 'It's perfect,' Gates says, radiant with bloodlust. 'The day Sony launches [the new PlayStation], and they walk right into Halo 3.'" With the Halo franchise serving as a guaranteed holiday sales booster, we are sure it will help put Xbox 360's in homes everywhere.
