Runnymede Memorial, London on Panel 64

Son of Donald W and Marion B Fraser, of Napier, N Z


Wellington Ic bomber R1713 HA-V took off from Marham, Norfolk at about 2220 on
20 June for a raid on Kiel, Germany.  The aircraft and crew were lost without trace
after sending a message asking for help.  Sgt Fraser was said to have been the Pilot
at the time.  The Observer was Sgt D A Dacre also from New Zealand.
