Son of Ranulph George and Eileen Alice Dacre, 
of Mt Eden, Auckland, N Z

Wellington Ic bomber R1713 HA-V took off from Marham, Norfolk at about 2220 on 20 June
for a raid on Kiel, Germany.  The aircraft and crew were lost without trace after sending a message
asking for help.  Sgt Dacre was the Observer.  Sgt M J Fraser
said to have been
the Pilot at the time,
was also from New Zealand.
