Fung Ho-Yin - My Ideas for Lost and
Found ...........
I don't know how many pieces I am going to do yet. May be one or two
probably. I will have to see how the first piece works out, and whether I have
time as well.
But at least I am planning to make a set of screens for one piece.
Here is my first piece:
- Detail - 'Standing Landscape'.
- Medium is 'Cyanotype on cloth'.
- Frame is made of walnut.
- Size - 54"(H) x 110"(W) x 16"(D) - it is approximate only as it is not set up yet.
Here are the details of what I intend to do:
- it will be made of 5 tall screens joined with hinges in between, so that
it will be able to stand on its own and be foldable
- it will be made of a walnut frame with printed graphics on fabrics hung on
as the major areas of interest
- it will be collapsible so that it can be put into boxes or luggage and
people in Australia will be able to assemble it
- rough dimensions 18"(W)x 72"(H), so it will be something like
80"x72" when set up
- the size of the longest wooden piece will not be longer than
36"/40"x1.5"(diameter), the rest will be fabric
Well, at least it is the plan so far.
