DuoTech is owned and operated by several ex-mercenaries that wanted to make the government see that there is such a thing as super soldiers that were not cybermonsters. So, they established DuoTech security and medical Services. In reality, the group had plans to use certain chemical compounds to accelerate the nervous system and the chemical out put of the whole body. They started the process on dwarves. Dwarves are the sturdiest and heartiest of all the (meta) humans on the planet.

This process, known as Juicing, pushes the physical body to its absolute limits and beyond. New designer drugs were combined with computerized biological monitoring and drug dispensary system with incredible results. The computer system monitored every aspect of the body: Blood flow, air intake, oxygen levels, adrenaline release, sugar levels, hormone levels, respiration, neurological responses and stimuli, digestion and other aspects of the functioning metahuman body. Microscopic implants placed in the vascular system, brain and muscles mapped out the body in unimaginable detail. Nano-technology and chemical advancement will herald the day of the super-metahuman without the extreme mechanical augmentation of cybernetics.

The Juicer tech needs to have the implantation of two tiny computers called the bio-comp system. The systems are implanted in the head and chest of the subject. The dual system serve as a fail-safe feature that enables one bio-comp system to override the other in case of malfunction. Only one system operates at a time, although both have a neurological link to the hundreds of microscopic sensors implanted throughout the body. This is a form of cybernetics and does detract from the humanity of the juicers who go through the juicer process. (Essence loss is only .5, the system is mostly external.)

Whatever the benefits if the Juicer tech, there may be an over looked price. The subjects will all die within 5 years. This is primarily due to the accelerated metabolism and use of designer drugs by the bio-comp system. The benefits of the Juicer tech are as follows:

The body becomes stronger and able to carry more weight than it should.
One is also able to last longer without the fatigue that one would normally feel.
They can run and jump higher and farther than any normal man.
They have an enhanced metabolism that allows them to react faster.
They do have a very poor sleeping rate. What has been noticed is that they sleep for maybe an hour each day.
They have got a really awesome resistance to most toxins, poisons and magic.
Finally, they apparently have the ability to heal themselves at a dramatic rate.
