I overslept this morning.
Because of the storms, our ISP had been down earlier on Thursday, November 29. I hadn't been online all day.
Eve had been on the computer late, after we got off work.
I had been reading
Sense and Sensibility until my eyes were too tired to see.

I was half awakened by my clock radio this morning, and I heard Coyote and Niki on Nashville's Oldies 96.3, doing their morning talk thing between my beloved oldies songs. I suddenly realized Coyote was saying they were paying tribute to George Harrison. George had passed away of cancer.

I have since been filled with memories of the Beatles, Cathy, and the years I have spent since 1964.
Oh, has it really been that long? George was just a kid. Well, maybe not. Maybe he never really was just a kid....

across the universe
George was a mystery,
but he will always be the guy my little sister had a crush on the last two years of her life.
He's the guy who wrote "Something,"
"Don't Bother Me,"
"Taxman,"
"For You Blue,"
"I Like You Too Much,"
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps,"
"What Is Life,"
"My Sweet Lord," and
"Across the Universe."

Best wishes, Love,
and Peace,
George.
