Loriento Riding Academy sees a variety of students. In order to allow each student to get the most out of their time with Anne, several different lesson types were created. See listing below for more information.
Flatwork
Private Flatwork Lessons:
Private lessons are an integral part of a rider's education. These allow for one on one time with the instructor and yeild the maximum progress. Beginners are required to take private lessons until they are able to safely function in a group.
Group Flatwork Lessons:
Many riders find it more fun to ride in a group. Our group lessons consist of no more than 4 riders, all of which are grouped by ability. Most group lessons take place on school horses. Beginners are excluded from group lessons as they need private attention.
Dressage
Lessons in Introductory through First Level dressage are offered. School horses are competent through second level movements, and so lessons can be either on your horse or on ours. Both group and private lessons are offered.
Jumping
Beginning through 3'9" jumping is taught. Both private and group lessons are available.
Eventing
Lessons in Ameoba through Training level eventing are available. These sometimes convene at show grounds so that riders may experience different courses and terrains. Both private and group lessons are available.
*All lessons are an hour and a half because horse management is included.
