Welcome to my FIRST web page!
My name is Lorie Speer and I am what is called a non-traditional student at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This is my first attempt at web design using the HTML I am learning in ETEC 4830. It is a bit scary but exciting at the same time. Being a non-trad means I am intent on finishing this time! I have a fantastic life! It is full being a wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt, student, and friend. My motivation comes from wanting to be the best I can for all of these special people in my life. I love being married to the greatest guy in the world and mom for eight superterrific people. They bring so much to my life--joys and challenges, highs and lows, pride and shame, peace and chaos, rest and exhaustion. We are busy trying to blend, trying to maintain, trying to make the most of what and who we all are, as a family and as individuals.
