| How To Register For The Lords of Comedy Forum |
| 1. Right click this link and select "Open in New Window." This will allow you to be able to refer back to this page easily. 2. Below the Lords of Comedy Forums image, there is a box. On the left side of that box there is a link to "ords of Comedy."On the right side of the box there will be links to "Control Panel," "refresh," and "Log In!" Click "Log In!" 3. You will then be sent to a page that has text boxes for your Username and Password. Since you aren't registered yet, click below where it says, "If your not a member yet then go Register!" 4. Fill in all the boxes where information is required (You only really have to fill in the boxes with "**" next to them, but fill in any info you would like to.), click the check box that has printed next to it "I have read the Terms of Use above and agree to abide by them," and click "Save Changes." 5. You will then be sent to a page with a Username box, a Password box, and a box for your Confirmation Code. Your confirmation code will be sent to the email address you registered with. Check your email IN ANOTHER WINDOW and when you recieve the Confirmation Code, highlight the whole thing with your mouse and (on your keyboard) press the "Ctrl" key and the "C" keys at the same time. Click back to the window that asks your Username, Password, and Confirmation Code. Click the box under to the text "Confirmation Code:" and press the "Ctrl" key and the "V" key at the same time. Type in your Username and Password, and click "Submit confirmation." 6. You will then be sent to your account's "Control Panel." Here, you can update your information, upload an avatar (A small photo that will show up next to each of your posts), and make Societies.(If you want a Forum) NOTE: As of this step you are a member of Chat Area, NOT the Lords of Comedy Forum. To become a member of the Lords of Comedy Forum, you need to post (at least) 1 message in the Lords of Comedy Forum. 7. After you have played with your "Control Panel," right click this link and select "Open in New Window." Here you can select under which forum topic you'd like to post under. Once there, you can post a new topic (Go to #8) or post a reply to a topic (Go to #9). 8. To post a new topic go to the forum topic you would like to post under. (May I suggest CaseMan and Angoose are SEXY?) When you click that forum topic title there will be a link that says "New Topic" in the bottom-left corner of the box below the Lords of Comedy Forum image. Click it, and enter your User Name and Password (If it's not already there), the Subject of your new topic, and your message. After you are done, select from the options given below the Message box and click "Post Topic." Congrats! You are now a member of the Lords of Comedy Forum! 9. To post a new topic go to the forum topic you would like to post under. (May I suggest CaseMan and Angoose are SEXY?) When you click that forum topic title there will be a list of all the topics people have posted. Click one of them to reply to, and read the message. Once you have read the message, look at the bottom-left corner of the box below the Lords of Comedy Forum image. You will see two options, "Reply" and "New Topic." Click reply, and enter your User Name and Password (If it's not already there), the Subject of your reply, and your message. After you are done, select from the options given below the Message box and click "Post Reply." Congrats! You are now a member of the Lords of Comedy Forum! It may seem like a lot at first, but it's really not. Plus, you only have to do this once! So that means that after you do this, you will be able to post to your heart's content FOREVER!!! |
