The Two Towers
This is a first review of the Two Towers, writen just after getting
back from the cinema. I shall come back with a longer one soon.
In the meanwhile, just write your own review here
THE GOOD
1)The scenes of Arwen are marvelously integrated in the film and
perfectly insert a distant echo of the pain the end of the LotR
implies: Hey man i would have rather forfeited the ring, if i could
still keep the elves in Middle-Earth and i am very very angry with
God for having created this wold consisting just of mortals....And
i,too, would love an elf princess for a wife...
2) a fantastic Golum(no comments)
The BAD:
1)WtF are those elves up to in the battle? The last alliance of
men and elves is long gone, and i can not understand why Jackson
should change the way Tolkien decided to put this out.
2) What's going on with his vision on the elves. In part1, it was
Galandriel behaving more like an evil witch rather than the formidable
book's Galandriel. And now it is Elrond who appears to be a morose
-looking father than the all-sage creature we have loved through
Tolkien's works.
3) why on earth shoud he change Faramir?(such a stupid decision
i just don't comment on this.
