So, when I say Science Fiction, I mean I read all kinds. And write a bit, too. Since I'm still relatively immature, I tend to like the violent stuff more. That doesn't mean it can't be good sci-fi, though sometimes it means it's really bad. And I don't really have anything against "bad" sci-fi, anyway. Right now, this page may be a bunch of links and such, with a few editorials that no-one will ever hear, and possibly some of my work sometime. I haven't been very good with other sites I've started, but since they are basically just for me, it doesn't really matter. (My brother thinks "bad sci-fi" is repetative, but he still reads a lot of it...)

And maybe I should say something about Beowulf. No, not me, the real one. The warrior prince of the most famous old-english saga. It's a fun read, really, especially if you get Seamus Heany's translation with the original across the page. Or, for another version, watch the 13th Warrior or read the Crichton book, Eaters of the Dead, that it was based on (which is based on Beowulf, of course). As for me, I'm not a warrior, or a poet, just an amatuer thinker. |
