| That's Steve. We keep him in a closet and let him up for vodka and air. You may have noticed the new link today. It comes from A Modest Destiny and the new series A Starship Destiny. The author of the comic is most likely the most overprotective artist in the history of the world, but he writes a damn funny strip. I encourage you to check it out. Do you have a funny picture of yourself that you want me to put on my sight? Email it to me at [email protected] (sorry I can't link you directly, geocities doesn't seem to like html.) Well we are covered with about 6 inches of snow right now and I am looking for something fun to do today. Yesterday was the first day of Winter-een-mas. What is Winter-een-mas you ask? Well it is the gamers holiday. Anyone who plays video games classifys as a gamer. What does a "gamers holiday" entale? Simple, just say Merry Winter-een-mas to everyone you know (in order to improve recognition), play video games with large groups of people. Hold a lan party or make a trip to an arcade. Write to game developers to say thanks cause they don't hear that enough. Finally, no gifts should be exchanged on Winter-een-mas (for a varity of reasons including the ammount of gift giving in the past month, not wanting to comercialize the holiday, etc.) but cards are great. Winter-een-mas season is the entire month of January and the actual holiday is the last week of January. Merry Winter-een-mas! |
