I havn't had the time yet to fix all the annoyances of my website, but I will get around to it.
I spent last week in upstate NY. One could hardly call it civilization, and yet the people were more civil than any here in Washington. I didn't see a single Starbucks or McDonalds and I literally had to climb a mountain for the closest cell phone reception from my house, but noone seemed to miss it. Such a curious little place.
I had a great time, got to drive alot of speedboats and spend an afternoon with my God-sister Marta. (My God-mother's daughter) She's pretty cool. My parents found a 20 acre piece of rock that they want to retire to. I can promise them I will never come home more than a week if they move there.
Work on the garage hasn't started yet because the contractor hasn't started yet. Also we were planning on getting a temporary paint job for the '34 but the paint shop says they would need to sand it and re-prime it. (It's already been primed but apparently that doesn't work for the paint shop. Whatever...) So no exact word on when we're going to be getting it in our driveway.
I chose my classes for my first semester. I have my freshman seminar, ECON 1, MATH 2, and Theater Arts 15. My schedgule is pretty good. Two classes monday, tuesday, and wensday, and one class thursday and friday. The only downside is the friday class ends at 5:00 pm. and the tuesday class starts at 8:30 (but thats the acting class so I don't really care.)
I still havn't heard about my roommate and apparently I won't until mid-Aug. It's kinda scary how quickly the crap is accumulating and how slowly the money is in contrast...
