Art itself is the best answer to the question; "What is Art?".
For me, there have been no permanent answers to this question, only temporary ones...
"Maximalism", "Pan Imagery", & "the School of Idaho" - these are merely the labels and dialogue I've devised to talk about my art, they are terms used for convenience, and with them I'm simply naming a series of work, I'm not trying to start any movements. It's the surprise of the creative process that is really of interest to me, and I enjoy not knowing what's coming next. In retrospect, my Art has always seemed to reflect my interests & enviroment, so I suppose "if it's on your mind - it's in your art".
