As my work is continually evolving, I've come to the conclusion that my "style" is to have alot of "styles".
The term "Pan Imagery" came to mind to describe this (Originally I used this term to describe only the "Predella" series, but I've since adopted it to denote my entire body of work, as well as my approach to art.). Deep down I truly believe that all these names and labels are slightly silly and superflous. For me, they function merely as something to generate dialogue, because it is the dialogue that is "attached" to an object that seems to define it as "ART".
But though dialogue may help to "contextualize" Art, to excessively name and label it appears to do Art a disservice, robbing it of it's mystery and poetry. It helps to remember that ultimately, Art can't be reduced to merely dialogue and neatly put in a "box".
