"The nightmare continues"

The nightmare continued, about two years after the original Halloween was made. Alright, it wasn't as good as the first...what can be? Something like the original Halloween cannot be surpassed for it's inguenuity, and for its bone-chilling factor.

But Halloween 2 did do something good. Myers' Doctor, Sam Loomis, in the end, found Michael and killed him...thus ending the Halloween series at 2 (we thought.) John Carpenter was right to end it there...how much further can you have taken the series?

Myers following Laurie to the Haddonfield hospital is frightening, as well...Just to think, on a night where no one is safe, there is no place that is safe, either. That was good, but the storyline was not as original as the first--then again, how could it be?

Another negative: the dramatic change in the mask. How could it go from the Shatner collection in H1 to the dingy clay model of two? An inconsistency.
