What the hell as this!? The film, which was so bad, cannot even be justified. John Carpenter may have created a classic, but maybe he and Debra Hill should have taken just a few more years off before they made another Halloween flick.
Okay, maybe...maybe...the storyline was original, and maybe it was kinda scary to think a mask maker made masks that people died in at 9 o'clock on Halloween night. But the way this movie was made, only a drug addict could have comprehended with the plot.
The only true scary part was the seconds they showed Halloween 1 clips.
In the end, any film which must advertise with "not the same as the others" won't do well...Carpenter changed the plot too quick for true fans.
