" Dare To Risk "

"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall
give thee the desires of thine heart."
                             Psalm 37:4

*To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.

* To Weep is to risk appearing too sentimental.

* To reach for another is to risk intimacy and emotional involvement.

* To expose your ideas, your dreams, before a crowd is to risk their loss.

* To love with true abandon is to risk heartbreak and not being loved in return.

* To live your life to the hilt is to risk dying too soon.

* To truly believe in yourself as well as others is too risk disappointment or failure. But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. Those who risk nothing, do nothing of consequence, have nothing of great spiritual worth, and are nothing in the soulish realm.

* Some people may avoid suffering and sorrow for a time, but they are emotionally and mentally stifled and soon grow frustrated and stagnant.  These people cannot truly expand their horizons, nor learn new and exciting things, feel the deepest and sweetest of emotions, change their lives for the better, grow in character and wisdom, love passionately and live expectantly.

* Chained by their fears and negative attitudes. they are slaves; they have unwittingly forfeited their personal freedom. Only a person who dares to risk and dares to dream is truly free.

My friend, my wish for you is the courage to risk living your life to it's fullest...the vision and ability to make your dreams a reality. Most of all I wish you the capacity to give and receive love without reservation.
