Grace Kelley
This is Grace Kelley (partially named after me). She is a 10 year old that was dumped in the night deposit at the shelter in Anderson, IN. She is such a sweet girl. They had her spayed and called us to come get her. We had her with us 3 days when a WONDERFUL lady called to inquire about a rescue. I told her about Grace, but also told her that she had tumors all over her mammary glands and would need surgery. She took Gracie and had her surgery on Sept. 11, 2001. Gracie is feeling much better now and healing great. She is much loved and adored by her new family.
Squeaky
This is Squeaky , he is the proud new owner of two kids and a mom. Last week about two days before we put the site up, he was adopted. His new family drove to Northern Indiana from Bloomington Indiana to pick him up (around 8 hours one way). He is doing great watching over his new kids and they are all settling in wonderfully.
GirlDog
Little Girl was found when we were looking for an escaped pair of pets...the woman tried to tell us that she HAD to belong to us...even though we were looking for a collie-aussie mix (blue merle) and a golden retreiver.(males)....her reply was.."oh well, my dog will kill it before the day is over anyways.....I had her for a while , put service dog training into her and donated her to Midwest Assistance Dogs for Karyn.
Skipper
Skipper was a breeders puppy, who had jumped out of a perspective buyers arms and broke his leg. The breeder just wanted him to be placed after the "buyer" agreed to pay for its surgery, so Karyn got her pom that she had been wanting.
Skipper & GirlDog
And Skipper and Girl are having fun together in the same home :0)
Angel
Angel was a "high risk" puppy and her breeder really was unable to get into possible heart surgery with. She went to a GREAT home that was willing to take the risk, rather than being euthanized, or living a life without a family of her very own.
She has since been cleared of any heart problems and is destined to live life as Queen of her new home and spoiled rotten!
Gracie
Here is little Gracie with her new mom Ginger Miller. Ginger works for Dr. Kaiser at the Goshen Veterinary Clinic. What a great new home for Gracie! :0)
2 More Shih Tzu puppies :0)
This is Gladys and her mom. They drove ALL the way from Richmond, Virginia, on an "adventure" to adopt these rescue babies. Talk about a Merry Christmas for these pups! We really had a great visit with these ladies and we hope to find more wonderful folks JUST like them for our babies!
