| Like any Theatre, Nassau Community College's Theatre has its share of ghost stories. There is a story of a girl who killed herself in the girl's dressing room, backstage of the main theatre. The story is vague at best but people have reported sounds, voices and moving objects during performances. During the May '05 run of Angel Street, which Will was in the cast and Tom Stage Managed, Tom was hearing voices in the booth of the theatre as was Kerri who was running the Lightboard. They heard breathing, tapping and Tom's name was said. In June '05 the Theatre put on The Long Weekend. Will and Kerri worked backstage crew; Tom was stage manager and Lights; Kit, a friend of L.I.P.S., was running sound. |

| During the run of the show Kerri witnessed the backstage curtain move as though someone was running their hand across it on the opposite side. The picture to the right shows the curtain. She also felt someone touch her shoulder on several occasions while opening and closing the Main curtain but there was no one around and I was sitting right by her. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Since 2 members of L.I.P.S. were working on the show we decided to investigate on June 25 & 26, 2005. Little did we know that our own little theatre had more going on than expected. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The investigation started at 10:24pm, after that night's performance was over. The team consisted of Will and Tom. We noticed from past experiences that there is a sad, lonely and almost desperate feeling by the backstage curtain during the run of a small cast performance. Our first area of investigation was the black curtain that Kerri saw move. There was nothing found in the pictures, video or EVP. However, we did notice a feeling of light headedness by the fire door between the 2 water pipes pictured on the left. That is directly across from the part of the curtain Kerri saw move. Kerri, Tom, Kit and Myself all felt very lightheaded when standing in that particular spot. We brought it to the attention of a staff member in case it was a gas leak. He followed us to the spot. He said there is nothing but water pipes there and he felt nothing but the 4 of us still felt it. Afterwards he pulled Tom aside white as a sheet and said "Holy S**t, What was that?" He did feel it but refused to admit it at the time. We're not sure what it is but there is no leak of any kind there. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Our Final stops Backstage were the Guy's and Girl's Dressing Rooms. The Girl's Room is where the young girl reportedly killed herself. We left the sound recorder in there alone for a while but nothing was picked up. We also did EVP Questioning, but once again nothing on the video, recorder or pics. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
