To get to the booth where Kerri, Tom and Kit have been hearing things we had to cut through the Theatre itself. There were a few people still in the house so the investigation was a little difficult but the booth was a different story. |

For Those of you who don't know, The Booth in a theatre is where the equipment is, Lightboard, Sound, Etc. NCC's Booth is located in the back of the main theatre with a window facing the stage. The Stage Manager and Electronic Techs sit in the booth and run the lights and so on so that the show goes on with no problems. |

The Booth has had many reports of disembodied voices and sounds. Tom and Kit heard Tom's name called on the second day of the investigation. Tom and Kerri both heard voices and tapping during the run of Angel Street. While taking pictures in the booth on 6/25/05 I did some EVP work then left the Recorder on the table by the Sound Board. This is what it picked up:

The entire record time is 16:40s. This Sound clip takes place at around 14m into the recording. There are people talking in the background. Try not to listen to them but rather to the static in the recording. At about 5sec there is a strange air burst and then a voice at 16sec. You may have to turn up your volume and listen more than once.

We are not quite sure what is being said. We can hear 2 beats though. The first part is undeniably "Help Us" The second part though is a little unclear. On the recorder it sounds like "Find Them" on the computer it sounds like "Fire." Nassau Community College was built on top of an old Airforce base. The Hangers are still by the campus. There were some fatal Fires. |

The Next day I set up the Sound Recorder across from the Lightboard while Tom and I were setting up for the show. We were both in the Booth when this was picked up.

This entire recording was about 40min long. At 11:11s there is a strange voice. On this Recording you will hear Tom say "Fader" 7 times then "One of the Lights is Dead" Then "Fader" 3 more times. After the 3rd time you will hear the voice.

Once again we are not entirely sure what we are hearing but it is definitely a voice. Some have said it sounds like "Hey There" then again it could be trying to copy Tom and say "Fader" |

After further research and talking to faculty members we found out that the area the theatre is standing on used to be a church. The church tragically burnt down taking lives with it. The head of the theatre department keeps the top of the old church's steeple in his office. This new information just adds a bit of validation and chills to the first EVP. We hope to do a follow up and more thorough investigation in the future. |
