Biography

Jake started playing guitar at age 14. He was in a band with a group of his friends for about a year. After having trouble with people not showing up for practices and lack of motivation on everyone's behalf (including Jake), the band just kind of broke up. So Jake ventured out on his own.

A couple years later, he met up with a local blues band called The LaCroix/Stanton Blues Band. He was offered to sit in with the band occosionally during thier gigs. "I learned so much of my blues music from Tony [ the lead singer/guitar player. ]", says Jake.

After a while, the blues band grew older (like in thier early 20's!), and moved on with their lives. Jake then started to write more songs and experimenting more with the blues.

So Jake's music is a real smorgasbord of rock, blues, and alternative music. Check it out!
