| Welcome to the home page of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. Our congregation has a long history of service in Lowndes County. The beginning of the church can be traced back to about 1887 when one of the first preachers in the community, Charlie Wheeler, helped plant the Lone Oak congregation. We continue today to strive to hold fast to the pure gospel of Christ.
