Het bestaat uit 2 zones dat gesplitst wordt door een rivier. The first city after Cobija is completely non-touristic which makes it nice and safe to walk around. There are 2 zones which are split by a river. ACCOMODATIE : ACCOMODATION : HOTEL RODOVIARIA aan de terminal is een goed(koop) hotel en aangezien de meeste activiteit aan de terminal is, de ideale plaats ook. at the terminal is a very cheap place and as most of the activity is found around the terminal it is the best place to be. Er is g��n internet in deze stad!! There is NO internet in this town!! PORTO VELHO (22/05/2000-23/05/2000) De eerste stad n� Riberalta, en van hieruit neem je een boot (35USD;4 � 5 dagen) naar de hoofdstad van de Brasiliaanse Amazone : MANAUS. First town after Riberalta and from here you can take a boat(35USD;4 � 5 days) to the capital of the Brasilian Amazone : MANAUS. ACCOMODATIE : ACCOMODATION : De goedkoopste hotels liggen aan de terminal. The cheapest places are around the terminal; when you leave the terminal, go left and it is full of it. Je kunt er uw ticket voor de boot kopen in de terminal(met VISA) of aan de haven. Eens je uw ticket hebt, kun je op de boot blijven en er gratis slapen; ook al vertrekt de boot 2 � 3 dagen later. Zorg dat je een hangmat hebt; je kunt ze goedkoop kopen in da haven. You can buy your ticket for the boat in the busterminal(with creditcard) or inthe boat. Once you have your ticket, you can stay on the boat and sleep there for free; even when the boat leaves in 2 or 3 days. Make sure you have a hammock; you can buy them cheap around the port. |
| MANAUS(26/05/2000-31/05/2000) Een grote stad in het midden van de Amazone die je enkel kunt bereiken per boot of met het vliegtuig. Er staat een prachtig operagebouw in het midden van de stad. Hier kom je naar toe om een jungletour(45USD/dag) te maken of voor een bootverbinding naar de kust, naar Venezuela of naar Peru. Al de touroperators spreken er Engels dus als ze u daar in die taal aanspreken, mag je zeker zijn dat ze je een tour willen aansmeren. A big city in the middle of the Amazon that you can only reach by boat or by plane. There is a beautiful operabuilding in the middle of the city. You come here to make a jungletour(45USD/day) or for a connection on the river.
