Richard O'Sullivan
Richard O'Sullivan was born on May 7, 1944 in Chiswick, Middlesex.

Richard's first screen appearance was in The Stranger’s Hand in 1952

During the 50’s and 60’s he appeared in numerous films and TV shows including Sherlock Holmes, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Carry On Teacher, The Prince And The Pauper and The Ronnie Barker Playhouse.

It was during the 70’s that he really came to prominence with shows like Doctor At Large, Doctor In Charge, Man About The House and Robin’s Nest.

This continued into the 80’s with Dick Turpin and Me And My Girl.

In 1971 he married Diana Terry but the marriage lasted less than a year. He then had a relationship with co-star of Robin’s Nest Tessa Wyatt and they had a son, Jamie. His second marriage was to Christine Smart but they divorced in 1994.

Richard is reported to have suffered a stroke late in 2003. He is now living in Brinsworth House, a retirement home for actors and performers in England, run by the Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund.
