II-1 Present IF

      -    DON'T  get the chance to do it , the fact already exists.

      -    Present 假如

He could complete the project if he had more fund.

He would complete this project if he had more time.

He might complete the project if he had more support.

He could be happier if he had more friends.

He could have the job done well if he had more assistants.

 

II-2 Past IF

        -   DIDN'T  get the chance to do it, the fact already existed.

        -   Past 假如

He could have completed the job if he had started earlier.

He would have completed this project on time if he had borrowed more money.

He could have been treated like a king if he had arrived here before the accident.

Had he started earlier he could have completed this job.

Had he borrowed more money he would have completed this project on time.

Had he been given with more support from the company he could have completed the project sooner.

 

II-3  IF … , I will 

         - 如果 ...

If he agrees, I will buy it.

If he rejects it, we will stop the production.

If the price goes up tomorrow, I will sell it.

If it gets cold tomorrow, I will bring my jacket with me.
