Stephenville North & South Texas Railway

Number of SN&ST fans in the World:

This page currently under construction, but hope to bring some excellent information together here and add some links of interest. Please stay tuned as work continues . . .

For an excellent capsulized history of the SN&ST, click here.)

Another history of the SN&ST can be found on the Cotton Belt Historical Society site at SN&ST.

In the future, additional information of an historical nature will be found here that isn't normally or readily available anywhere else.

If you have any information, stories or artifacts from the SN&ST, or the Cotton Belt lines made up of the former SN&ST, please email G.D. Powell at POWGD or R.J. McKay at LokoMac8!

For a small railroad, they had a great and finely detailed logo. Anyone know who designed it?

A nice, old map from the Official Railway Guide, circa 1910.

A bad flood in 1908 damaged much of the SN&ST, including a bridge at the Leon River. This is a blowup of a photo capturing the flood damage at Alexander, Texas which includes the depot.
