LoganVostok is a compilation which has taken nearly three years to complete.  Although the foundation for the music you hear is comprised of synths, namely the Korg and Moog, and some electric guitar (Fender Squire), a good portion of the sounds come from what I and others call "circuit bent" instruments.

"Circuit bent" instruments can be any electronic toy piano, computer game, or any gizmo for that matter which has had its electronic innards rewired, modified, and hacked to bits.  The result is a lobotomized electronic device with amazing aural capabilities...

Below are a few examples of some of my own designed aural instruments and circuit bent devices.  Place the pointer on the picture to reveal the mods and click to hear a sample of some circuit bent oddities....

This was once one of those electronic doodle pad things that made noise when you would draw somthing on it.  Now it makes more noise than ever before.  Some of them remind me of bird calls.  You decide ;-)
Once of my home-made designs.  This pocket sized synth is two cascaded 555 timers with vactrol controls.  Enjoy!
This is an electronic toy piano that I call "Phobos" since its paintjob gives it a type of ancient Martian relic look.
Ah the Casio SK-1 no circuit bent collection is complete without one of these.  Hours of endless fun with this beast!
This is a homemade optical Theremin (again a trusty 555 timer with a photocell to alter the pitch) with a circuit bent Boss Digital Delay pedal.  All this thrown into an old 60's AM/FM radio chassis.  These combined forces create a Theremin sound reminicent to that which Jimmy Page plays in the movie "The Song Remains the Same".  Feel free to contact me at [email protected] for any circuit bending tips or circuit designs and the like...
