EGYPT
We were priviledged to visit a mosque and learn about the history of Islam with Osmond. Notice the cross on this mosque which was built early on in the history of Islam.  This reflects the influence of Christianity on Islam as many early converts to Islam were formerly Christians.
Inside view of the 2nd tallest mosque in the world.
Osmond points out a passage in Exodus 12:37 which mentions the Hebrews fleeing through Succoth during the exodus.
This is Marah, the same area where Moses was placed in a basket and found by the daughter of Pharoah (Exodus 2).
Bricks made without straw which still stand in Goshen.  Also, pieces of Hebrew pottery are scattered all along the ground...so I picked up a piece.
