| Charles Cinco Pitzi (Charlie) March 16, 1987 - April 23, 2002 We looked in the want ads and found the ad for our Charlie from a private home. We went to go see the kittens; Charlie was playing with his two sisters. My oldest daughter picked him out. On the drive home Charlie tried to jump out of the van window. We were not too experienced with cats, so we were afraid to pick him up. So Daddy put him in a pillowcase, lol, and brought him upstairs to our apartment at the time. When we took Charlie out of the pillowcase he got very rambunctious and happy and started hopping like a rabbit. Which scared my parents, they jumped on top of the couch and said, What the hell is he doing? Now we all know much more about cats and laugh about this to this day. Anyway, as he was trying to adjust to our home he refused to eat. My mom was so worried she even took him to the vet. There was nothing wrong with him, but when my father brought home Kentucky Fried Chicken he sure loved the white meat, lol. Charlie became known as our watch dog-cat. Every one was afraid of him because he was wary of strangers. Charlie became very used to sleeping with my youngest daughter Santia and would actually get mad when she wouldnt go to bed on time, or stay over at someones house. He would actually meow at her until she would go to bed, then he would make her pet him for awhile until he would fall asleep. Needless to say, we love him and we will miss our Charlie very much. He will always be in our hearts. This Tribute was written by Charlie's grieving family, April 25,2002 |

| GOD'S GIFT One day when God felt generous, He looked down at me and smiled, "Since I feel so magnanimous, I'd like to give you something, child." He asked me what I wanted, I said, "Oh, really nothing more, You've done so much already." He said, "That's what God is for." "You have been pretty good," He said, I know there's not much that you seek, I will pick a little something, Just to make your life complete." With great anticipation, I looked forward to my gift, I wondered what God had in mind, That would give me such a lift. "This gift," God said, "You realize, Bears some responsibility, So, if you accept my present, You must be willing to agree... "To offer unconditionally, A section or a part, Of more than half of you, The larger portion of your heart." "Okay, God," I answered, "Since in You, I always trust, I'll meet your obligation, In the manner that I must." To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift, For so much of me, God's asked, Now what could be so valuable, That my share was more than half? With both hands I sought my gift, I still did not have a clue, Then God put your hand in mine, And said His gift to me was YOU! ~ Author Ginny Ellis ~ |
