These three pictures are of glyphs from the stone bridge site in Lake County Oregon.  A published work of sketches of the glyphs shows an appartent mother animal nursing a young one.  My photo of this glyph shows a different interpretation than the sketch, and that is a reason that I do not feel art work is the best method to preserve a record of these objects.
This glyph is shown on a 1940-early50's postcard which shows hills across the valley.  I located a spot where the hills as seen matched the photo and then backtracked about two miles in the opposite direction to locate the petroglyphs.
