06/29 - it's Saturday & i skipped on going out w/ my friends again.  they're going out to Venus for male revue night, & from what i experienced the 1st time i went--i'd rather not relive it.  i really wanted to go out w/ my friends & see  them, but i don't wanna see  the male strippers--yuck !  now i'm gonna go watch  the video my younger brother & i rented from Blockbuster.  it's a chinese movie called Time & Tide w/ Nicholas Tse.  i don't know what to expect from the movie.  oh well.  me go watch  Time & Tide now.


06/28 - today was an interesting day.  1st off, i went to summer school & took my test.  now i'm finally free of school--yes !  then i went home & then to the restaurant only to be told to go home because of the repaving of the parking lots caused business to be slow; therefore, i went home. it was fun to be at home during the daytime, so i got caught up my fav. daytime soap shows--ha ha !!  anyways, i did a lot of cleaning today.  i'm actually not done vacuuming my room yet.  oh well.  besides that, i did a lot of driving--aye .  what made it worst was the traffic due to the Taste of Honolulu event down @ city hall.  then there's my other stress.  i've lost my driver's license--can you believe that  ?!  but my older sis thinks i misplaced it.  no ..i think  it fell somewhere.  damn, i don't even wanna think  about it ..


06/27 - tomorrow is the last day of the 1st summer session @ KCC, & i have a test to take.  but today i had to another speech presentation.  this time it was a group project on KCC's library, & how it's a good place to go to study or explore.  i thought it went well.  besides that, it was a very slow day at the restaurant because the parking is being repaved.  because of it, my parents closed for a couple of hours & went shopping @ Costco while i was "studying"  @ home.  that's it for today... 


06/25 - hmm ..i haven't done much lately except for going to summer school, work, & laying around @ home watching  DVDs my older sis rented from Blockbuster.  i picked out Shiri--a Korean movie (w/ English subtitles). i had heard & read articles about the movie before--especially in the Ka Leo (UH-Manoa's school newspaper).  i thought the movie was really good --better than what i expected & totally different from the korean dramas that i've been watching .  in much of the Asian movies i've seen , the quality aren't that great compared to American movies--Shiri was an exception.  it had a Hollywood blockbuster feel to it.  i even fell in love  w/ the song When I Dream by Carol Kidd which was playing through out Shiri.  the song is touching & conveys the exact feelings & emotions of the movie.  here's a synopsis of Shiri:
SYNOPSIS: Action-thriller about tensions between North & South Korea which opens w/ North Korea's 8th special forces engaged in a difficult rigorous training regime.  The team's fanatically committed leader Park singles out his ace student & sharp shooter--Hee, for a top-secret mission.  A couple of years later, South Korean intelligence agents are baffled by a wave of murders of scientists working on a top-secret defense project.  Agents Ryu & Lee suspects Hee but can't locate her.  1 day, Ryu finally spots Hee icing an arms dealer w/ a sniper rifle.  Then Park & his fellow commandos take out a military convoy & swipe top-secret CTX, an explosive completely undetectable.  Park & Hee's plan slowly becomes horribly apparent: to blow up a North & South Korean friendship soccer game--launching a war that will bring South Korea under the North's hegemony.  @ the same time, South Korean intelligence is starting to suspect a mole in the midst & evidence seems to point to Ryu's fiancee. 06/21 - i got a lucky break in my Speech 151 class today.  thank goodness !  i was assigned as the 8th (& last) person to present my Persuasive Speech today, but was pushed back to Monday because class was going to end--whew!  i had been cramming yesterday to finish my outline, but it took forever! plus, i didn't even make a poster for my speech either.  so i woke up early this morning to finish my outline & make my poster.  however, i didn't have enough time to make a poster.  through out class i was hoping my classmates would take a really long time presenting their speech.  the only thing i had to use as a visual aid was the Allure magazine i had in my bag (don't worry, there was an article in it pertaining to my speech--quite relevant, but not exactly appropriate i think).  oh yeah, that reminds me...  in this month's Allure magazine, my horoscope (Virgo) went like this: You're juggling so much that you're losing track of what's important.  Thankfully, the Sun-and-Saturn conjunction on the 9th helps streamline your priorities.  Meanwhile, you wonder if a friend is really an enemy on the 28th, but have a little faith.  Don't let your suspicious nature get the better of you.  wow , that's exactly what i've been feeling lately.  freaky ya ?  well, i only read the horoscopes for fun.  i don't actually believe in it..hmm , maybe i should..  whatevers..


06/17 - i'm having the worst day ever today.  1st off, i presented my informative speech in front of my Speech 151 class today, but i was late to class . the reason was there was no place to park (where i usually park) when i arrived to school, so i had to drive around looking  for 1 on the other side of campus.  then i had to get to my class which was on the other side of campus , & i was locked out of class because another person was giving their speech.  my speech was soo crappy!!!  i kept stuttering & blanked out a few times not knowing what to say .  2ndly, while i was driving to Aloha Towers to pick up my younger sis from work & then to her 2nd job, the car suddenly died out in the middle of a busy road !!!.  but the worst thing about it was that i forgot to take my mom's cell phone w/ me.  so i was left sitting in the stalled car in the middle of a busy road w/o a phone to call anyone for help .  if i had gotten out of the car, i could've been runned over.  great, huh ?  why does that stupid car always have problems when i'm driving  ?!  why me ?!!!  ugh...i just wanna lay in bed & watch  my korean dramas now.


06/14 - my younger bro had his b-day party today @ the restaurant.  the whole thing went alright.  the kids stayed in the little room (most of the time) eating, playing video games, watching  movies, playing cards, & playing w/ each other.  we didn't have a lot planned so i thought the kids might get bored , but that wasn't the case.  now i'm extremely tired  --watching  them & waiting tables ain't easy to do even if it was a slow day.  i should start working on my informative speech for my speech class, but i just wanna chill.  the most amusing thing i've read all week was an article in MidWeek 'bout WWE wrestler 'The Rock' (a.k.a Dwayne Johnson).  he loves  manapua--interesting fact .  it's cool to see someone as famous as he call himself a local of Hawaii.

06/10 - the weekend is over, & i had school today.  i haven't felt like going lately 'cause i've been feeling so tired .  of course i went down to the restaurant to work after my class @ KCC, & now i'm home w/ my brother.  my friend asked me to go out eat @ the restaurant our friend works @, but i can't go 'cause my younger brother is a little sick .  plus, i have no way to get there & home since i can't use my older sis's car.  i haven't gone out w/ my friends in a really, really long time.  i wish i didn't have any obligations holding me back from going out w/ them, but i do now.  hmm ...i wonder if i'll see them anytime soon.  geez, i'm beginning to forget what they look like now--that's not good.  well, i hope they can understand 'bout me having to turn down on all of their outings so far.


06/08 - wow ..so much has happened this month that i don't even want to get into it.  i have never felt this before.  i thought  this was supposed to be 1 of the best years i've ever had, but now i'm thinking this could be 1 of the hardest years i've ever had to experience.  okie, i'm gonna stop thinking 'bout it now or i'll start crying  again .


06/04 - CONGRATS TO MY SISTER LIZ & EVERYBODY ELSE I KNOW THAT GRADUATED!!! i'm very sorry to those i didn't give a lei to or meet @ the McKinley graduation.  don't think i forgot you--it's just i got busy helping my sister taking pictures & stuff that i never got the chance to go find you.  when i did, you people disappeared.  once again, i'm very sorry  & wish you many happiness & luck on your future--whatever it is you've decided to do.
