07/30 - it's 11:45 P.M. right now, & i just came back from going out w/ my friends .  i had a fun night.  we went to watch Austin Powers in Goldmember @ Ward, & ate @ the Makiki's Zippy's.  i ate the korean fried chicken w/ french fries--yummy!  the movie was hilarious  w/ lots of sexual inuendos & jokes.  i've never seen an Austin Powers movie before. i was expecting something really corny & stupid, but i was wrong. plus, Beyonce of Destiny's Child was really good & pretty in the movie.  however, i think i've seen too much of her boobs.  while my friends & i went to the bathroom after the movie, we coincidentally ran into our other friends .  they planned to watch a movie, but got a refund instead to go eat w/ us. it was nice being all together-- very interesting. here's a synopsis of Austin Powers in Goldmember:
Synopsis:  Dr. Evil & Mini-Me have somehow escaped from a maximum security prison, & the duo team up with Goldmember.  Together they formulate a plan for world domination.  However, this particular scheme requires time-travel & kidnapping Austin Power's father, England's master spy, Nigel Powers.  As Austin chases Dr. Evil, Mini-Me, & Goldmember through time, he stops in 1975 to "connect" with an old girlfriend, detective Foxy Cleopatra, a streetwise & stylish detective. 07/29 - yesterday was my younger sis's 18th b-day, but i haven't seen her in days.  she's been staying @ her friends' house i think .  when she does come home it's usually to grab some clothes.  ha ha , she acts sort of like a tornado---whirls in, whirls out .  then thursday is my older sis's 21st b-day.  yups , she'll be of the legal age to buy alcohol .  but let's go back a couple of days.  July 24th was my friend Kelsey's 19th b-day---Happy belated birthday Kelsey  !!! (sorry i couldn't go to you b-day dinner. i was sick ).  July 27th was my friend Ira's 20th b-day---Happy belated birthday Ira  !!!  Jully 29th was my friend Katrina's 19th b-day, so...Happy belated birthday Katrina  !!!  wow , so many b-days in the past 2 weeks ya  it's getting hard to keep up & remember the older i get...hee hee .  soon it'll be my turn to blow out the candles .

07/23 - whew !  that hot shower i just took was very relaxing for a long day like today .  1st off, i had to wake up early to take my younger bro down to his school to pick-up his schedule & pay the school fees.  while there, i met my friend tara & her bro there.  after we were done doing that, we went down to the restaurant since she had a craving for Spring Rolls.  while us girls were chatting, her bro & my bro were playing in the other room.  since her bro didn't want to go to their grandmothers', they ended up staying @ the restaurant for 3+ hours, but she wasn't that bored 'cause our friends came to eat later on.  while she was there the restaurant was really busy.  i just came back from an orientation @ my bro's school.  it was quite boring, but Tara & her mother was there.  it's so strange to be back @ Washington Middle School where i had attended middle school.  gosh, this year's 6th graders are soo small !!!  reminiscing 'bout the past w/ my friend was fun .  .


07/21 - i went shopping today @ Ala Moana w/ my bro & sis to check out the inside & outside sidewalk sale. however, it wasn't much of a sale anywhere, but i still found some cute tops @ a bargain @ Macy's & Everblue Casuals (<-- located across the street from Ala Moana).  i got 2  black tops, 1 jean top, & 1 tan colored top.  i don't know how often i'll wear 2 of them 'cause it's sorta out there & dressy.  the shopping trip was unexpected.  my mom asked me this morning @ the restaurant if i wanted to go shopping w/ my older sis.  she's never done that before.  i got out of the restaurant @ 2 P.M. to go shoppping, & i had an enjoyable  time (except for the long line i had to stand in to try the tops & then to pay).  there were 3 cash registers, but only 2  were open.  the 3rd girl was "talking story" w/ someone .  ugh !!!


07/20 - while working @ the restaurant today, i got a prank call when answering the phone thinking it was a take-out order . this is how it went:
"hello, *** Restaurant.  how may i help you?"
"can i get a blow job?"
"excuse me?"
"can i get a blow job? [chuckle]"
"sorry, i think you got the wrong number.  that's 1-800-spank-me." [hang up]
ugh , what a bunch of a$$holes.  they're so pathetic.  they've got so much free time to make prank calls for cheap laughs .  i'm quite sure no girl would actually give them a blow job in real life 'cause they're such Losers!


07/18 - i've been extemely busy lately. my life, so far, has been revolving around working @ the restaurant. that's what i do for the 1st half of my day.  then i go home to take care of my younger bro & do some house chores.  then i chill in front of the t.v. watching mostly korean dramas or a DVD or go on the computer.  i've practically been doing that everyday since summer began.  aye, what a life huh ?  i've also been preoccupied w/ a little project.  hee hee .  i don't wanna say what it is i'm doing 'cause it's top secret.  hee hee!!


07/10 - life's been getting pretty good lately.  the only bad thing is my younger sis's attitude.  sheesh , she acts like the entire family are her servants & her friends are her gods.  she's the family's headache --& i mean it literally.  i'm wishing for the day when she becomes more respectful to family & stops bitching & swearing  @ us.  anyway, some of my friends left for Arizona for L.E.E.P (Law enforcement explorers)  .  i miss my friend Tara & Li Yuan already (even though i haven't seen them in a long time), but i hope they're having lots of fun over there.  it's times like this in wish i joined that club.
  

07/05 - i was reading the Honolulu Advertiser today, & the T.G.I.F section of the newspaper had an interesting article 'bout a new film called The Green Dragon <--(click to read more 'bout the movie).  the film is 'bout the 1st wave of Vietnamese refugees to the U.S.--sounds quite interesting.  the director of The Green Dragon also directed Three Seasons, so i think it's going to be a good & enlightening film.  i want watch it, but i i'm too busy w/ other stuff.  plus, i don't think anybody would want to go watch it w/ me .  i love  foreign films--especially ones that relate to my culture.  well, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin had an amazing picture of yesterday's Ala Moana's firework show (on the right).  ain't that soo pretty ?!  i think it is.  that's what i saw yesterday w/ my friends & bro.  .


07/04 - happy independence day !!!  i had a very nice, eventful day.  1st, i went down to the restaurant to work, but it was a bit slow (but better than yesterday).  @ 2 P.M. my older sis took me & my younger bro & i down to Sherwood (a beach @ Waimanalo Bay) to meet my friends.  wow , the beach is very, very far, but the drive down there was very scenic & beautiful.  it was 1 of those times in which i had a "lucky you live in hawaii" moment .  hee hee !  anyway, i stayed there w/ my friends & bro 'til 6 P.M., & went down to Ala Moana to watch the firework show. while there, my friend & i bought some malasadas to eat & share w/ our friends 'cause we were a bit hungry. the food court was very crowded & busy, so we had no problem waiting for the food.  the girl was working so hard & there were many customers waiting in line.  my friend & felt so bad for her.  the people working behind the counters were working as fast as they can to fill the orders, but malasadas don't fry quickly.  w/ a$$hole customers complaining , don't expect the service to be wonderful.  be nice to them, & they'd totally do all they can to hurry things along.  gosh damn it people .  if the girl had the malasadas, she'd quickly fill your orders.  it's not like she was standing there doing nothing.  ugh , some people's behaviors were disgusting--especially this 1 guy . the girl asked my friend what number we were & apologized for the wait 'cause they ran out of malasadas & were making more.  we said we understood & didn't mind the wait. but the other guy stood there looking @ us w/ a disgusted face like we were idiots for apologizing for having such a big order (& we did--2 dozens).  no  we're not idiots--we're civilized & patient unlike your rude a$$.  it's 4th of july & the place is packed w/ lots of orders to fill.  she's sweating  in a hot kitchen unable to go out to have fun in celebrating the holiday.  however, the guy kept complaining  & pouting .  he should be ashamed of how he acted.  he's way older than us, but acted like a 2-year old. we should be glad we live in such a free & democratic place called the United States Of America. stop complaining  'bout the damn malasadas you jerk!  my order goes 1st because i ordered before you , so wait your damn turn !!  ugh !!!  sorry.  i had to get that out of my system.  the malasadas were delicious & the firework show was amazing .  i love the "happy face"  one.  i'm glad i'm an American because of the freedom my country gives me.  yes, i do take it for advantage sometimes, but holidays like this always remind me of how appreciative i should be.  God bless America.  may peace  reign across the world.


07/03 - today was extremely slow @ the restaurant. there was a span of 2 hours w/ no customers--really weird . hopefully it's doing better now that it's dinner time.  tomorrow is independence day for Americans.  i'm sure this year's celebration will be much more meaningful than a couple of years back because of the 09/11 terrorist attacks. i'll be joining the hundreds of people going down to Ala Moana Beach Park to barbeque, swim, & watch the firework show @ Magic Island.  but i'll only be able to meet up w/ my friends late in the afternoon 'cause the restaurant will be open. aye , traffic is going to be hellish.


07/01 - it's a new month already--that was fast.  i even forgot today was July...
hee hee.  i no longer have summer school now.  yea !!!  all i'll be doing for the rest of my summer vacation is working or going out w/ friends (which rarely happens).  today was a pretty good day.  i woke up & saw the movie Gigi playing on t.v..  i love that movie !  i just came back from dinner w/ my friends @ Buca Di Beppo. it was really fun, & had been a really, really long time since i've gone out w/ them.  they always get on my a$$ 'bout that.  the food was delicious....yummy .  the next time i'll be seeing my friends will be this july 4th @ the beach to watch the firework show.  hopefully that'll be really great & fun .
