02/28 - Saturday will be my last day @ Zippy's.  yes !  no more sushi, bentos, somen salads, shrimp tempura, cleaning, & all the other crap i had to put up w/ !!!  now i gotta do a little updating on this webby, & finish my essay.


02/25 - damn, i've got my ECON 130 midterm tomorrow.  i'm gonna study after i get offline. hopefully i'll do alright. the grade is based on a curve, so i'm hoping my classmates will do crappy on the midterm.  i'm wicked ain't i ??  hee hee .  anyways, i was watching this very interesting & funny movie on the SCI FI channel yesterday.   my younger bro wanted me to record the movie for him 'cause he wasn't going to be home.  he said it was a Jackie Chan movie, but it was an Edison Chen movie.  it's called Gen-Y Cops but the channel guide & SCI FI channel called it Metal Maniacs.  strange.  Edison Chen was so cute in the movie (he's on the right .).  i had read about Gen-Y Cops many months ago before it was released, but i didn't think much of it 'cause it was a Hong Kong movie (& i thought the plot was kinda retarded--cops chasing a killer robot ).  i didn't think i'd ever see it, so i didn't think much 'bout it.  i guess i was wrong.  the movie wasn't that wonderful, but it was entertaining .  aye...i gotta go study now.  Agh !!
Synopsis: a sequel to Gen-X Cops (1999) following 3 rebellious, young, Hong Kong policemen who don't play by the rules. 02/21 - i'm really, really tired  right now.  i didn't sleep 'til 3 A.M. 'cause i was writing my ENG 100 essay.  i didn't  know it was due today, & i had to wake up @ 6:40 A.M..  i only started writing it at 12:30 A.M..  damn, i had to get some coffee to stay awake in class.  good thing i'm not working today.  however, i need to read this book for my hist 152 lab 'cause there's a quiz, &  also have a jour 150 paper to write.  then there's my econ 130 midterm which is next week tuesday.  damn. talk about stress .  crappers .  Aaahhhh !!!!


02/19 - i had a nice weekend even though i didn't do much.  i mostly stayed home (except going to Costco), & going online to work on my webby.  hmm..i've got such a boring life.  well, i watched last night's Beautiful Days episode.  yes , i'm talking 'bout that damn drama again.  tonight is the last episode , but i'm working.  i'm only gonna catch the 2nd half.  i'll watch  the rest of it when it re-airs tomorrow afternoon.  i'm so peeved KBFD cut out the scene where Min-Chul sings to console Yonsoo while she's in the bathroom crying  thinking of her illness.  damn them.  but the scene after was soo touching .  Min-Chul finally tells Yonsoo he loves her.  geez, it takes them to get married & be on their honeymoon for him to finally say those 3 precious words.  oh well.  what else..ah, i kept falling asleep  in my classes today.  it got so bad in my Econ 130 class that my cousin & i drew escape plans to get out of class to get some much need coffee.  LOL !  i'm much more awake after having the delicious Mocha Expresso Shake from Starbucks .


02/16 - Valentine's Day was 2  days ago.  just another typical day for me.  i've never had a Valentine .  hopefully i'll have 1 next year.  maybe not .  my sisters got roses, & i didn't .  don't you feel bad for me ?  oh well.  the weekend is finally here.  i gotta work again tonight.  i'm waiting 'til the day i'm finally out of there.  well, my precious Beautiful Days drama is ending next week Tuesday .  hopefully Sunshine is good & interesting.  LOL, another 3 months of Ryu Shi Won.  maybe he'll get the chick, & she won't die this time.


02/12 - Kung Hee Fat Choy or Chuc Mung Nam Moi !!!!  it's the year of the horse!!!  ah, it's the time of the year where my parents & aunt give me $$$.  hee hee , 1 of the perks of being Vietnamese & Chinese.  however, i work today which sucks, but Beautiful Days is on tonight. hopefullythe drama replacing it will be good, or i'll be stuck having nothing else to watch on T.V @ 8 PM.  well, i went to school today even though it's Chinese New Year.  however, i skipped my HIST 152 class because i didn't feel like going.  LOL ...ain't i bad ??  not really, huh ?  AAHHH !!  i hate my ENG 100 class. there's so much to read & write, & the professor talks too much. i should go study or get ready to work now.
 

02/10 - i've been quite busy lately.  i went to Chinatown on Friday to watch the lion dancing & other Chinese New Year festivities w/ my cousin, & to video record my younger bro who's in 1 of those lion dancing clubs.  it was strange . the streets weren't as crowded as they usually are during these festivities since it had been raining earlier.  plus, there were police officers assigned to watch each club--which never happened before.  times sure are changing, but i still had fun .  then i went down there again last night to record my bro's club's stage performance @ the Chinese Cultural Plaza.  damn, their performances was running late, but it was really good.  i miss the lion dance action sometimes..but not the practice!  Chinese New Year is this coming Tues.--YEAR OF THE HORSE !!


02/06 - whoo hoo !!  i got a 17 out of 20 on my quiz for JOUR 150, & i didn't really read the chapters either .  well, i gotta fix up my narrative persuasive essay for ENG 100, & go over it w/ my professor after this.  hopefully it'll go well.  hmm..i gotta work again tonight.  yesterday was slow, &, thankfully, i didn't get any notes from the Okazuya ladies.  oh, you know what songs i'm feeling @ the moment ?!  it's "Nastified" by Park Ji-Yoon feat. Willa Ford, "Juliet" by LMNT, & "Am I Wrong" by Roch Voisine.  i can't seem to get them out of my head.  yesterday night's Beautiful Days episode was so sad . Yonsoo found out she has leukemia (a typical disease for the girl & main character to get in korean dramas).  now she's scared & worried 'bout the future, & still in shock 'bout her break-up w/ Min-Chul.  he doesn't know she's sick, but i'm sure he'll find out in next week's episode 'cause she collapsed @ the end of last night's episode while he was walking down the driveway of her apartment.  ugh , @ least they're getting back together next week 'cause that's how these dramas work--hook-up, break-up, & hook-up again; sometimes ending up engaged, married, or simply together.


02/04 - crap .  i gotta work tonight.  today is supposed to be my day-off, but i was called in tonight by my assistant manager.  apparently i'm switching w/ another co-worker, so i'll be off on Friday.  that means i won't be home to watch the entirety of tonight's Beautiful Days episode.  i'll probably catch only 1/2 of it .  i'll just have to wait 'til tomorrow afternoon when it re-airs.  also..i had a quiz today in my JOUR 150 class.  20 multiple choice questions--they weren't that bad.  i think i did okay.  pray i get a really, really good grade for it, okay ?


02/02 - 11:36 P.M. & i'm tired.  i've been busy all day.  i spent most of the afternoon helping my parents clean @ their new restaurant.  then i had to go to work.  after that, i went back to the restaurant to clean some more.  now i'm online.  ugh , i'm soo glad i'm quitting Zippy's --Osaka Okazuya.  it's soo tiring cleaning the grill, the fryer, the sink, pans, heating table, ice bin; scrubbing the floor; prepping the somen & hiyashi salad, fish; dealing w/ customers & being the cashier; stocking up on cups, forks, straws, chopsticks, plates--all in 3 to 3 1/2 hours by myself.  plus, the women who work in the morning write notes to me from time to time telling me 'bout what i haven't done or what i should do. geez , i work so hard trying to finish cleaning up everything to please them, & all they focus on is the 1 thing i haven't done. old bitches . i'm stuck doing their crap & all they seem to do is complain.  AAAaaahhh !!!!  damn them.  i only have a little time to finish all i've mentioned above while they work 6 or 8 hrs. shifts, yet leave things for me to do because they "didn't get a chance to do them".  whatevers !!!  shoots, i gotta talk to my assistant manager so i can leave before the end of February.  i'm going to lose my mind soon..


02/01 - it's a new month, & Chinese New Year is next week.  i'm taking a day-off from work next week Friday to go to Chinatown for the festivities & lion dancing. then Valentine's Day will be coming up in a few weeks. it's not a fun holiday for single peeps like me .  my day was alright today, except for the incident in the school's lounge.  ha ha, i was drinking this mocha frappachino thing, & i forgot to twist the cap back onto the bottle.  when i grabbed the bottle & shook it--it splashed right onto my face.  clumsy me .  my friend saw the entire thing.  i was soo embarassed, but was laughing my head off because the whole thing was soo funny .  lucky thing i was wearing a black shirt, & it didn't get wet.  geez, i'm always spilling something on myself.  last year in school, i accidently spilt milk all over myself during lunch.  what will i spill on myself next ???
