12/12 - Aaahhh
!!! i found out today that i'll be having 2 (Math 100 & REL 150) of my final exams next week Friday. crap. i'm just thankful tomorrow will be the last of day of classes for the Fall Semester. i need to study, but i hate studying
.
aah..oh well. then again..the day wasn't soo bad today after receiving 2 little Christmas gifts
. one was lotion & soap from the body shop, & the other one was a huge candy cane. however, i haven't given my gifts out to people yet. i teamed up w/ my cousin on getting Christmas gifts. so far she's done almost all the shopping. i was supposed to go w/ her the other day, but got caught up w/ something. i feel bad about it. oh well.
12/11 - ugh..i'm soo tired
. the damn neighbors are soo deaf
!!! it's was 12:30 a.m. & they were blasting their stupid stereo. geez..i know they love their A*Teens CD, but please spare everybody else. i was soo happy
when they finally turned off their stereo. but because of them, i kept falling asleep
in class. oh well. that class was boring anyways.
12/10 - hee hee
..i got home from work a couple of hours ago, & i haven't taken a shower yet. i stink. oh well, i'll do it after i finish watching
the korean drama Tender Hearts..it's gonna end next week
. oh hey, there's some talk that UH might have a Christmas Day bowl next year against UCLA. too bad UH isn't playing a bowl game this year. they soo deserve it, but that's not the hand they were dealt. crap
. hey, @ least they were recongized w/ a 26th ranking. that's close enough to cracking into the top 25. i guess i'll just have to wait 'til next year for some more Warrior football.
12/09 - i just finished watching
the final episode of the korean drama Her House [there are english subtitles]. the ending was nice & happy
--just the way i like it. it's bittersweet to see
the drama end after it's been for many months. though it got boring
@ times, i still enjoyed watching
it. oh well. a new drama is starting next week. hopefully it'll be a good, or i won't have anything to watch
on Sundays when it re-airs (since i work on the nights it orignally airs).
12/08 - WHOO HOO
!! the University of Hawaii football Warriors beat nationally ranked BYU (#8) today 72-45 in front of a sold-out Aloha Stadium, & a national audience on ESPN 2 (sort of)!! i knew UH could beat BYU's butt. i was glued to the t.v. when the game was on ESPN 2, but they cut away during the 4th quarter to air the North Carolina St.-Syracuse basketball game. stupid network people. i wanted to watch
the entire game since i couldn't go. what an amazing game it was. UH scored a touchdown 2 mins. into the game...wow
. the funniest
part of the game was when a male BYU cheerleader tried to pick a fight w/ 1 of the UH f-ball players. stupid
cheerleader. the f-ball player is 2 times bigger than you. i doubt you had a chance to kick his a$$. however, some of the UH players could've restrained themselves @ time. their excessive celebration after making a touchdown got a bit overboard, but what a great
job they did. though the rivalry w/ BYU is 1-sided on UH's part, the taste of spoiling their perfect season was sweet
!! congrats to the Warriors on a job well done.
12/07 - it's the 60th anniversay of "The day that will live in infamy.". 60 years ago--dec. 07,
1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. coincidently today @ work, i saw
some Pearl Harbor survivors pass by my work place. you couldn't miss them. they were walking in a quite large group, & were wearing hats that had "Pearl Harbor Survivors" embroidered on it. that was interesting. i've never met a Pearl Harbor survivors before. i know that when the terrorist attacked on Sept. 11
, the 1st thing i thought about was the attack on Pearl Harbor. however, i'm not the only 1 who thought
that. the comparison was inevitable. on to happier
thoughts. @ work today, this surfer-looking Australian guy bought a bento @ my place, but he was kinda strange
. or maybe it was because i couldn't understand what he was saying to me. what i do know is he made a comment 'bout my name tag. since i'm still in training (on my last month), my name tag says: Trainee Loan. the Australian guy said, "Are you a trainee on loan?". i thought
that was pretty funny
, but i explained to him that Loan (pronounced like "Lawn") was my name. he responded, "Ooh, that's nice." besides that, my day was pretty uneventful.
12/06 - ah yes..!! i only had one class & i was off from work today!! ah..i needed a break from work today, or i was gonna scream
. the only problem is i'm getting a little sick. oh well. you know what...the whole christmas present thing is beginning to stress
me. i haven't gotten any gifts for my friends yet. lately i've been feel a bit uneasy & stressed
on what to get for them. i know Christmas is about 19 days away, but time may be running out. crap
. hee hee
, the 1 thing that has me smiling
lately is seeing
the cute korean actor Lee Byung-Hun on the new drama that is airing. look
@ his picture...ain't he handsome
?! or maybe it's just me who thinks this, hmm...
that's alright. i'll be seeing
him in my dreams tonight...
12/05 - school & work was alright today. it was the same as always except it was quite busy @ work today. so much people
ordered combo plates (w/ those damn shrimp tempura), & they ordered it one after another. aahh...i wanted to scream
w/ all the combo plate & shrimp tempura that i had to make. especially since i had to make them all by myself. because of the orders, i got backed up on my cleaning. damn it. i hate it when that happens. anyway, i saw
the cute student teacher i had in my Jap 2 class during my junior year of high school today @ work. i
noticed a guy standing in front of my counter that looked
like him. after a few minutes, i realized it was him
. he still looks good
. plus, that nice old lady who gives me a tip all the time came to buy food gain today. and, like always, she gave me tip after paying for her food. she told me it was for Christmas. aww..that's kind & sweet. then, after watching
the korean drama Beautiful Days on KBFD, i felt strangely giddy & in a better mood. no worries 'bout me understanding the drama, it had english subtitles..which is good since i don't understand, speak, or am korean. ya ya...i'm weird. i already know that. anyways, that show just started, & i think it's pretty good so far. i'll just have to wait & see
if it stays that way, or if the storyline will drag on like other korean dramas. however, there is this one cute guy in the drama
look
@ the pic i posted. the cute guy is on the left
.
12/04 - hmm...let's see
. i only had 1 class to attend today & there was a pop quiz, too. i think
i did alright. Aaah
..i gotta register for the spring semester next week, & i'm still not sure what classes to take. i better go look @ the course catalogue some more later. damn, my life is soo boring
& redundant. but then again, most people always say that 'bout their own life. well, i gotta go get ready for work now..
12/02 - a new month is here, which means i should hurry up & finish my Christmas shopping. i started my x-mas shopping, but i haven't gotten far. i don't know who to give or what to get them--i'm totally screwed. well, i got my 1st x-mas present yesterday from a friend, & Dec. just started, wow
. just like always, i didn't wait 'til Christmas to open it. don't worry, i kinda knew what she was giving me--a black hooded, long jacket. i love
it! now that brings me to this incident that happened while i was working yesterday. there's this old lady who comes to my place once in
awhile to buy food, & she always give me a tip (but i don't receive tips in my position). then the old lady told me how nice & pretty i was. wasn't that soo sweet
? she said, "hasn't anybody ever told you how pretty you are?". i responded w/ a no
, she said, "well, you are pretty
." wow
, that made my day so much greater after that. anyways, after work i decided to roam around the mall for an hour to try do some gift hunting. then i went to macy's
& found my friend working. her bf was there too, which is funny
since she works in the lingerie/underwear section. then we decided to go watch
a movie w/ our other friends. we watched
Behind Enemy Lines 'cause that & Spy Game were the last showings. Behind Enemy Lines was good, except some unrealistic scenes like how hundreds of Serbs couldn't get one bullet to hit Owen Wilson while when the Americans shot @ the Serbs all the bullets hit & killed them. ain't that quite odd
??
