| Our main transportation around the K.I. Sawyer flightline, the beloved Romeo II van. The line crews probably spent more time in Romeo II than any other object on the base. Entering Romeo II is Rick Bush. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Four AIM-4s waiting to be loaded, no doubt! Note the AIR-2A Genie in the background with the shroud over it! The person is unidentified (but is probably TSgt Russel, a member of QC just waiting to hang some poor unsuspecting load crew!) (We're kidding!) (We think!) | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| From left to right, Bruce Morrison, unidentified, and Robert "Mac" McFarland transporting a missile. Note the cool Red Bull patch on Bruce's shirt! The 'talking head' behind the power generator is Jim Millerbernd. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is Steve "Jake" Jacobsen and Mike Brown doing some load training around 1977. Does anybody remember WSEMs? (Weapons Systems Evaluation Missiles, if we remember correctly!) We'd forgot but Father Satay reminded us that we used to have fun with loading these. Each WSEM was identified with an alphabet letter, i.e., Dog, (D) Charlie, (C) etc. Didn't take some enterprising load crew long to load Foxtrot, Charlie, and Kilo on a -6. (You figure it out!) (Hint: We didn't have a U.) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
