Cliff Dweller has been cutting out headlines from newspapers for years and arranging them into poems. He is the author of several collections of headline poems, including The Persistence of Desire (Chiron Review Press, 1991), Mapping the Asphalt Meadows (Slipstream Publications, 1991), and This Candescent World (Runaway Spoon Press, 1994). He lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and teaches English at a liberal arts college near there.
